For example, when I first smelled cedarwood oil, I thought I was going to throw up. But I struggle with insomnia, and really wanted to try it. So, I mixed it with lavender oil (I added 10 drops of lavender oil and 5 drops of cedarwood oil to a 10 ml roller bottle and filled to the top with FCO), and slowly, but surely, I have become accustomed to it. Do I love it? no, but I can use it without gagging.

If you have trouble sleeping like I do, you’ll try anything just to get a good night sleep. Let me tell you, that I found some pretty powerful blends that I diffuse before bed and they’ve worked miracles for me. I have this diffuser on my nightstand, and my favorite blend to diffuse before bed is Serenity by doTERRA. Of course, I vary my blends, so I exchange the formula every few days. I sometimes use cedarwood and lavender, other times I use lavender, chamomile and wild orange. And other times I just use Balance.

We are all stressed, and one of the best ways I know to change the mood for the entire home, id to diffuse some relaxing oils. No need to yell, make a scene, or lose my mind.
