This part of the brain triggers emotions but it also influences your breathing, hormones, blood pressure and stress levels.
Here are some of the ways to inhale essential oils:
- Spray the oils into the air with a spray bottle and breathe in the mist
- Add a couple of drops to warm bath water
- Use a diffuser to disperse the oils throughout the entire room

My Favorite Recipe With Essential Oils For Anxiety
Here’s one of my favorite recipes of essential oils for anxiety:
- 3 drops bergamot oil
- 3 drops basil oil
- 1 drop lavender oil
- 1 drop peppermint oil
Diffuse the above mixture and feel better. If you prefer a roller blend, triple the oil quantities and add to a 5 ml roller bottle filled 3/4 with FCO or any other carrier oil.
Essential oils can help ease the tension of mild anxiety but you should never use them in place of any medications you’re already taking. Instead, talk to your doctor about using essential oils as part of your treatment plan in conjunction with the medical care you’re already receiving. They may help you control your anxiety better so your doctor can reduce the amount of medication you’re taking with time.
I’ll be pinning this! I need a diffuser and I also love the combination. Thank you for sharing this combination! I have anxiety often. I will go out into the store and come home shaking because of it. This would be nice to relax afterward with.
