Natural Facial Masks Recipes

Let’s be honest, we all want that super healthy, glowy, young looking skin! You can do it with expensive beauty products that include unwanted chemicals, or you can have the same results with natural facial masks recipes that are easy to make.

That’s why today I want to share my favorite one-ingredient face mask ideas with you! Super simple, natural and effective!

Easy, Natural One Ingredient Face Masks For Dry Skin

Honey

I guess I’m going to start with my favorite. Honey! It’s an amazing product, especially when it comes to natural skin care. It’s thick consistency makes it super easy to apply as a face mask. Antioxidants and enzymes moisturize your skin and its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties help purifying your skin.

Olive Oil

One thing I love about olive oil is that it doesn’t clog your pores! It has anti-inflammatory properties, which help reducing red spots and it’s also extremely moisturizing for your skin.

Avocado

Avocado has A, C, and E vitamins, as well as niacin, panthothenic acid, potassium, iron, and plenty of natural emollients, which help reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and moisturizing your skin.

Natural Facial Masks Recipes For More Glow

Egg Yolk

Separate the yolk from the white and voila, you have two different face masks. The yolk contains all the important vitamins and minerals of the egg and a face mask which will give your skin a healthy look.

Banana

If you’re like me, then you always have at least one handful of bananas on your counter. Bananas contain magnesium, iodine, zinc, folic acid, iron, potassium and vitamins, which can improve your skin’s appearance. Also, did you know that vitamin A helps with dark spots and vitamin B with wrinkles?!

Yogurt

Next time you want that glowy look, try a yogurt face mask! Yogurt contains lactic acid, which makes your skin look more glowy. Apply it and let it sit for about 20 minutes. It’s also great for the day after a long night, because the cool and creamy yogurt on your face will reduce dark circles under your eyes and give you a healthy look.

Homemade Natural Facial Masks For Oily Skin

Oatmeal

A popular breakfast option, but also a great skin care product is oatmeal. Oatmeal contains a lot of amino acids, which help build up the skin to make it look younger. It soothes your skin and reduced reddening. Not only you can use it as an all-natural scrub, but you can use it as a face mask as well.

Please use organic oatmeal, so that you make sure it’s free of toxic poisons, that could harm your skin. Just mix oatmeal and water and spread evenly.

Egg Whites

Because you have separated your egg, you now have another one-ingredient face mask. The egg whites contain most of the protein, which helps your skin look super healthy. While your mask dries, it also tightens pores and reduces the look of more shallow wrinkles.

Milk

Yes, the milk in your fridge can be used as a face mask! Milk has a cleansing effect on your skin and it reduces the size of your pores.

Anti-Aging DIY Natural Face Mask

Strawberries

I love strawberries, I could eat them every day! But I bet you didn’t know that you can also use them for face masks! They contain alpha hydroxyl acids that work against free radicals (and helping with signs of aging) and improve the appearance of your skin.
