How To Be Gentle To Yourself

Since it’s still early in the year , I thought it would be nice to talk about something that’s very important  to me: caring for my health. Many of us make New Year resolutions that we promptly forget by the end of January. We, especially women, want to make everyone happy but often forger that we NEED to take care of ourselves first. Let’s talk about how to be gentle to yourself!

I recently met a young girl (in one of my Facebook groups) who knows how to be good to herself, and I asked her a few questions. She’s young, but she knows what’s good for her health 😉

How To Be Gentle To Yourself: Interview With Tiffany Amber

1. Who are you? And what can we learn from you about living a healthy life?

I am Tiffany Amber, the wellness advocate behind Tamberdi.com. I hope to teach others that you can always have access to new information. You can always learn more regardless of your age and current situation. (this means you can learn to take time for yourself too 😉 ~ my note)

2. What’s your morning routine? How do you set yourself up for a productive day?

I start off my day at 4:00am (don’t worry, I go to bed pretty early too); once I wake up, I meditate for 10 minutes, do yoga, plan out my day, and pick out what I’ll wear.

Then, I prepare some fruit and lemon water, along with oatmeal, for breakfast.

Want to try this yourself? Here are the best fruit water bottle infusers: easy, peasy!!

I love getting walks in before my day “starts”, so I’ll always either get on the treadmill or walk my dog with my family. I think the way you start your day sets you up for the rest of it, so I love to get in a “power hour” right off the bat.

3. How do you stay motivated throughout the day?

I always keep inspiring content around; this means carrying around a book with me or having a repertoire of saved articles to read when I’m feeling a bit blah.

I also love to set aside mini-breaks dispersed throughout my day, so I don’t get too overwhelmed.

4. What is your favorite way to unwind at the end of a long and tiring day?

I love to brew some tea at the end of a long day and plan out what I’ve got going on the following day. This really lets me unload all my thoughts and stay worry free for the rest of the night. If I’m not doing this, you can find me taking a nice bath with a book I’m reading or stretching before bed.

5. What message do you want to share with the world?

I do what I do to share the idea that anything is doable, that you can manifest whatever life you want through inspired action. I want to help people realize that they can take the first step toward living a more healthy and balanced life right now, in this moment.

It’s exciting to see how Tiffany has found a nice balance in her life. Now it’s your turn! What will you change this year to make it better for your health? Comment below so your commitment is out there.

If you accomplished balance, or have a great story of natural healing, I’d love to feature you here on the blog. Just send me a note to let me know 😉
