Brightening Argan Oil & Yogurt Face Mask
This is an instant radiance booster for dull skin. If you are heading to a party or getting ready for a romantic dinner date with Mr. Right, use this quick brightening mask for an after-spa look:
- 1 tbsp dark honey
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 5 drops of Argan oil
- 2 tbsp plain white yogurt
Squeeze enough juice out of half a lemon for 2 full tbsp and mix it with the honey and yogurt in a glass bowl. Add the Argan oil drops and mix thoroughly. Massage this fresh paste onto your clean dry face and neck with circular motions for about 5 minutes until it sinks into your skin. Then use the rest of the mix to cover face and neck with a thick layer and let it sit for 10 minutes. After you rinse it off with cold water you will notice how bright your skin looks. Simply glorious!
4. Exfoliating lip scrub with Argan oil
Addia few drops of liquid gold (another name for argan oil) to tablespoon of fine brown sugar, and lightly massage into your lips using a circular motion before rinsing it off. This will exfoliate any dry skin form your lips and instantly make them soft and kissable 😉
5. Argan oil is a great leave-in conditioner
Do you ever wonder what it takes to have soft, smooth, shiny hair? A good conditioner can make all the difference in the world, but it’s not always easy to find. Argan oil is the perfect conditioner: just use a few drops after washing your hair. Avoid your scalp if you have greasy hair: just rub the tips of your hair between your hands with a few drops of argan oil, and then just “comb” tour hair with your fingers for brilliant hair.
Great nourishing help if you blow dry your hair or use a curling iron 😉
6. Argan oil is helpful in controlling acne
The composition of Argan oil is quite similar to the one of our skin’s sebum, and this allows sebum production to slow down, convincing the skin it already has the necessary amount of oil it needs. By using Argan oil on your face regularly for a few weeks your body will automatically reduce the sebum production and acne will eventually clear off. Be persistent and patient and results will not fail to show!
For stubborn acne, add 20 drops of tea tree oil to 30 ml argan oil and use that twice a day.
7. Soften heels with Moroccan argan oil
Apply 3 or 4 drops of Argan oil on your cracked heels, massage it in, and leave on overnight covered with socks. You”ll enjoy softer, smoother feet.
These are just a few of this oil’s benefits. It’s also helpful for strengthening nails, preventing wrinkles, soothing psoriasis, and even diminishing pregnancy scars.
